  • Steps To Making A Fundraiser

Step 1: You must first create a fundraiser profile either by going to our home page and clicking the sign up button or signing up here. You will be asked to provide some personal information. Don't sweat it. The Dollar a Dozen Foundation will not share your contact information to anyone unless you say so.

Step 2: After completing the registration form, you will be automatically redirected to the Dollar a Dozen homepage where you must sign in with your new login information. You will then be redirected to your own personal homepage. From this page you can choose to create a new fundraiser, be a part of other fundraisers or simply just look through the site. To create a new fundraiser, click the button titled "New Fundraiser."

Step 3: Time to set up your fundraiser. You will first be asked to title your fundraiser.

Second, you will choose up to and including 12 charities. These non-profits will be the recipients of your hard work as the total funds you raised will be distributed equally among them at the end of your fundraiser.

Finally, you must choose an end date. You should take some time when considering the date your fundraiser will go through as you cannot change this unless you email the web master at brendon@dollaradozen.org with a request along with a brief explanation as to why you need to change the date.

Step 4: Now it is time to tell the world a little about what your fundraiser is all about. Now that you have finished setting up your fundraiser you can edit your fundraiser's description via the "edit description" button. You can also upload photos, keep your donors up to date with a live news feed and add prizes that you have aquired and are giving away at the end of the fundraiser as a thank you to all of those who have generously donated.

    Time to get started.
